Ferry Festa Rules and Regulations
By filling out the vendor application and registering, the Vendor confirms that they have read the Rules and Regulations established by the Festa Committee and hereby agrees to abide by same. The Festa Committee reserves the right to deny any application that would conflict with the intent of the Festa.
At the discretion of the Festa Committee, any Vendors jeopardizing the safety of attendees, volunteers, committee members, or the Festa will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave.
Any Vendor selling alcohol must abide by all SLA rules and regulations and provide a licensed, gated drinking area.
Glass bottles are not permitted on the streets or sidewalks.
Each Vendor space will be a curbside parking space approximately 10’ x 20’ in a located selected by the Committee. Unless there are circumstances, there will be no changes to final Vendor locations. Vendors may not resell spaces or change assigned spaces without permission from a representative of the Festa Committee.
Vendors are responsible for set up and break down of their booths. No equipment, tent, or tables are provided. Any Vendor that does not properly comply with this statute will be charged an additional fee at the discretion of the Festa Committee.
No electricity is provided. Generators must comply with Village’s Noise Ordinance.
Vendors are solely responsible for the payment of NYS Sales Tax.
Food vendors are responsible for obtaining valid Westchester Department of Health Permits and complying with all applicable rules and regulations of authorities having jurisdiction.
No refunds or discounts will be provided to vendors unable to participate on the day of the event.
In case of cancellation due to weather or health/safety concerns, as determined by the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, Vendors will be refunded 50% of the feed paid.
By signing this application, the Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the members of the Festa Committee, the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce, the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, and the Village of Dobbs Ferry, its members, officers, employees, agents and representatives for any personal injuries, property loss, or damages suffered by any person as a result of the action of the Vendor.
